The Edwards B502-I Custom Series dual bore bass trombone was designed to exceed the demands of the player. The B502-I bass trombone is an independent rotor system instrument that offers a consistent sound in every register. This bass trombone features a .562/.578-inch dual bore design, coupled with a two-piece, hand-spun bell and two AR-1 Artist rotors. The rotor design offers the best between a free-blowing feel and responsive, large bass trombone sound. The B502-I also has a handcrafted rose brass main tuning slide bow for improved response and tone. One of the most important elements of this trombone is the patented Harmonic Pillar System and exclusive Harmonic Bridge brace. These elements allow the player to fine tune the response and tone of the instrument through added combinations of nickel or copper pillars. The B502-I bass trombone includes a Griego CS1 mouthpiece and a deluxe Vegan leather wrapped fiberglass case. It is available with a choice of a yellow brass or rose brass bell.
